Methods of Payment and Sales Tax

Miguel accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express as well as personal and cashier's checks and wire transfers. If you prefer not to place your order online, we would be pleased to take your order by phone. Please call 917-714-6039 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.
Because Miguel operates in New York, an 8.25% sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped to a New York address. Orders shipped to an address outside the State of New York will not be charged sales tax.

International Orders

Miguel currently ships to the continental United States and Europe. Please call Miguel at 917-714-6039 to inquire about lead times applicable to your country.

Shipping

Shipping and Shipping Charges

Miguel prides itself in offering the finest customer service. All of our furnishings are shipped to your home via White Glove Service. With this method of delivery, a specially qualified carrier will contact you to make an appointment for delivery. Your furniture will be unpacked and placed where you desire within your home and the carrier will discard the packing materials for you. In addition, this service includes the carrier assembling your baby crib. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be due and payable upon delivery.

Shipping charges are 10% of the item price of your order.

Please inspect your order carefully when it arrives and note any damage to your furniture and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage such as boxes that are wet, punctured or crushed. Please do not sign shipping receipts without recording any damage on the receipt itself.

Damages must be reported to Miguel at the time of delivery by calling us at 917-714-6039. Miguel will not be able to assist you in repairing or replacing damaged merchandise if it is not inspected and documented as described above.

Cancellations and Returns

As all Miguel furniture is made to order, payment in full is required upon order. Because these items are crafted to your specifications, Miguel cannot accept returns. Cancellation of an order is possible only if Miguel is notified of the cancellation before production begins on a custom order and is subject to forfeiture of 10% of the total purchase price.
